Biography

Andrew J. Fawbush Jr. was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Fawbush graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in History and earned his J.D. from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. During law school, he worked for the State Attorney’s Office in Jacksonville and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida.

After graduating from law school in 2014, Mr. Fawbush joined the Office of the Public Defender in the Ninth Judicial Circuit. Mr. Fawbush successfully defended thousands of clients charged with DUI’s, drug offenses, white collar crimes, violent crimes, and others including first-degree felonies. He trained and lectured public defenders on jury trials, motion practice, and DUI’s.

Mr. Fawbush has extensive litigation and jury trial experience. He has conducted over 30 circuit and county court trials. He is a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Florida Bar, the Jacksonville Bar Association and the Northeast Florida Criminal Association of Defense Attorneys.

Mr. Fawbush lives in Jacksonville and enjoys spending time with friends and family, the outdoors, golf, basketball, the Gators, and the Jaguars.
